Message it's going to be underpowered. You should drive the speakers through the amp.

here's a rundown of my setup:
-New head unit needed (the power rating on the unit in my setup is not used at all)
-Pioneer DEQ-9200 EQ
-Kenwood KAC-646 70x2rms (driving front full range speakers)
-Kenwood KAC-S726 100x2 (driving the rears)
-SoundStream Van Gogh VGA600.2 300x2 @2ohms (for the Subs) =D

i had 6.5" infinity kappa full range up front with 6.5" infinity Kappa components (seperate tweeter) in the rear. They were pretty good but after all these years, they need to be changed out. I'm still looking for replacements and they have to match up with the power output of my amps which is making things difficult...

The best part of the entire system is the EQ. it has a phasing option that once set up, alters the phasing of the front, rear, right & left speakers. It helped out a lot in fine tuning the system to my liking.

Just do your homework and you should be fine...
